Adrienne Maguy
Artistic Director
Ballet, Variations, Tap,
Team TDC Choreographer

At 2 years old, Miss Adrienne began dancing at The Dance Center under the direction of Nancy Bonanno. During her 16 years of training there, she studied Ballet, Pointe, Modern, Contemporary, Jazz and Tap and participated in the studio’s performance group and competition team and also completed an internship during her senior year. After graduating from TDC, Miss Adrienne continued her dance career by attending Dean College as a Dance major and  was able to expand her knowledge and love of dance by experiencing new genres of dance and learning from incredible teachers who have led amazing careers. She also had the opportunity to work as an intern at Festival Ballet Providence and perform several seasons with State Ballet of Rhode Island, where she was a company member. In 2020, she graduated with her Bachelor’s Degree in Dance with a concentration in Pedagogy and was fortunate to go on to teach at many wonderful studios despite the pandemic. As a teacher and Artistic Director, Miss Adrienne is excited to spread her love of dance to her students and is ready to create a loving and structured environment to help her students learn and reach their fullest potential to prepare them for any future path they choose!

Kyle Maguy
Studio Owner


Mr. Kyle graduated in 2020 from Wentworth Institute of Technology with a BA in Mechanical Engineering. When he isn’t working or running TDC with Miss. Adrienne, he enjoys spending his free time building and doing custom paint jobs on cars and motorcycles. In 2023, Mr. Kyle and Miss. Adrienne were married and now TDC is lucky to have him constantly fixing our home and always supporting our dancers!

Nancy Bonanno
Creative Movement, Combo Classes

Nancy Bonanno has been an owner, artistic director, and teacher of The Dance Center in Winchendon Ma. for 29 yrs. Nancy is a native of Buffalo NY and moved to Boston to attend The Boston Conservatory of Music. She was a member of Impulse Dance Co. based in Boston for many years prior to buying The Dance Center in 1994.
Most recently she has taken on a new path of health and wellness, while continuing to teach the ages of her specialty. With studio ownership behind her she continues to teach the youngest of dancers 2.5 to 7yrs. Her method of teaching younger dancers is tried and true and her reputation has made the studio successful as these dancers continue until graduation.
As she steps into her second act, fitness and mind body connections are another focus. Her dance cardio barre class is a hit with the teens and adults, and she is certified in Pilates mat work and will be taking on the Pilates equipment training certification this year.
Her love of dance and fitness are quite evident, and she hopes to continue to inspire all ages with her energy and experience!

Cassie Blanchette
Musical Theater

Cassie Blanchette is an actress, vocalist, and music educator serving the New England Area. She has been classically trained in voice for fifteen years. She has won many vocal and acting competitions both state wide and on a national level. She just recently received a special invite only audition from the producers of “America’s Got Talent” for the 2019 season. Cassie just made her New York City debut at the Birdland Jazz Club as a special guest soloist at James Barbour’s Holiday concert (former Phantom of the Opera on Broadway). Her solo album, “Just a Whisper” can be found on iTunes.

Jennifer Conlon
Creative Movement, Combo Classes

Miss Jen has been teaching at The Dance Center since it’s opening in 1994. She currently teaches creative movement and ballet jazz. She also has taught ballet tap, jazz, and ballet. Her dance training began with Mona Rice and continued under Nancy Bonanno. She also continued her dance education during her time as an undergraduate student at The University of Massachusetts Amherst. Miss Jen loves teaching young children and sharing her love of dance with them! Miss Jen holds both her BA and MEd in Education. Miss Jen is also a second grade teacher in Worcester, MA and has been teaching at the elementary level since 1994. Miss Jen also is adjunct faculty at Clark University in the education department.

Amanda Couturier-Cormier
Jazz, Contemporary,

Team TDC Choreographer

Amanda graduated with her B.S. degree in Education from Fitchburg State University in 2012. Amanda also studied Athletic Training and Dance at the University of South Florida in Tampa her freshman year. She is also a Level I Certified Pilates Instructor through Peak Pilates. Amanda grew up dancing at The Dance Center, this being her 29th year with the studio! Amanda has received many awards for her choreography and dancing over the years at both the regional and national levels. In 2013, Amanda collaborated with Jennie Membrino-Nano on the Jennie & Company Show, "Tangled Roots," and still loves being a choreographer for the company. Amanda is the co-founder of The Choreography Experience, a mentorship program for up and coming choreographers. Amanda is the host and founder of the podcast, Dance Teacher Pep Talk, a podcast with a supportive and inspiring mission for new and seasoned dance teachers. Amanda is looking forward to this 15th season of teaching at The Dance Center!

Gabrielle Kent
Jazz, Modern, Creative Movement, Office Staff

Gabrielle Kent is a performing artist based in New York City. Originally from Holden, Massachusetts, she trained at her hometown studio under Chris and Joel Seger before graduating from Elite Academy of Dance alongside Lauren Mangano. She furthered her studies at The American Musical and Dramatic Academy, earning an Associates in Dance Theater. Gabrielle holds a BFA with a concentration in Dance Performance and Education from Dean College. With experience in live theater and film her recent credits include performances with Doja Cat, Rumbamena Dance Company, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, My True Crime Stories and Sony Productions Madame Web. Alongside performing, Gabrielle is passionate about teaching proper technique, anatomy, and protection of the body. She believes the root to a performer is beyond the technician you train to be. It is the passion within, emulating through the body and onto the stage, all to awaken emotion from within the audience.

Jennie Membrino-Nano
Modern, Team TDC Choreographer

Jennie received a BFA in Dance from The University of The Arts, Philadelphia College of Performing Arts. While attending the university she focused strongly on choreography and choreographed several dance pieces, which were performed in Philadelphia. Jennie has almost 30 years of teaching experience throughout the New England area teaching modern, lyrical, jazz, hip hop, improvisation, contemporary and conditioning. She has continued her training by observing conventions and attending workshops. Jennie has choreographed several local musicals and numerous competition pieces which have received overall high scores and special awards at the regional and national level. She is the founder and artistic director of Jennie & Company, a modern/contemporary dance company based out of Massachusetts and the Co-founder of The Choreography Experience, a mentorship course for dancers interested in choreography. Jennie currently teaches modern and choreographs for the competition team at TDC. She is looking forward to another great year teaching her students at The Dance Center. 

Kimberly Soel
Acro, Tap, Jazz,
Contemporary, Hip Hop,
Team TDC Choreographer

Originally from Ashby, MA, Kimberly began her dance training at the age of 2 and began competing at the age of 6.  She trained in a myriad of styles of dance including ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, contemporary, lyrical, modern, musical theater, and Acro and furthered her training while a student of The Gold School in Brockton, MA under the direction of Rennie Gold.  In 2002, Kim was a member of the USA Dance Team representing the United States at the World Showdance Championships in Riesa, Germany.  After graduating, Kim moved on to perform professionally with Rainbow Tribe: the Company in Boston, MA.  Her professional performance credits include: AF2 Lady Wolfpack (2009), CONcept ARTists (2011-2014), Static Noyze Dance Company (2014-2018), Busta Rhymes, Salt N’ Pepa, Fat Joe, Jamn 94.5, and Ginuwine.  In addition, Kim owned and directed the Harvard Academy of Dance from 2009 to 2019.  Currently, she is a faculty member at Theatre at the Mount in Gardner, MA teaching extracurricular classes, youth programs, and choreographing musicals as well as the choreographer for Lawrence Academy and The Middlesex School’s musicals.  Some of her favorite choreography credits include: “We Will Rock You” (TAM 2018), “A Christmas Story” (TAM 2019), “Beauty and the Beast” (Leominster All City Musical 2019), “Escape to Margaritaville” (TAM 2022), “Legally Blonde” (MS 2023), “Mean Girls” (LA 2023), and “Ruthless” (TAM 2023).  Kim continues to perform on the Theatre at the Mount stage in many of their musicals.  In addition, she is an adjudicator and master teacher for Imagine National Dance Challenge as well as Impact Dance Adjudicators. She is a certified Acrobatic Arts instructor, is a nationally sought after teacher and choreographer, and has received many national awards/recognition for her work.  She is known for her unique concepts, high standards of training, and dedication to her dancers.  Kim is beyond thrilled to be a member of The Dance Center family and to share her knowledge and passion with the TDC dancers this season!

Ashley Tousignant
Contemporary, Office Staff

At just 3 years old Ashley began dancing. She danced for 15 years and spent 12 of those years dancing at The Dance Center under the instruction of Nancy Bonanno. Over those 12 years at The Dance Center, she trained in Jazz, Ballet, Contemporary, Lyrical, and Hip Hop. Ashley was also an assistant, teaching Ballet/Jazz for 2 years during her time at TDC as well. During high school, she coached gymnastics and tumbling from ages 2.5-12, specializing in level 1 and level 2 teams. After graduating high school, Ashley attended Fitchburg State University and joined their Dance Club so she could continue dancing in college taking Jazz and advanced Contemporary classes. Ashley just completed her Masters Degree in Special Education and enjoys teaching and helping children in every way she can. Ashley has worked as The Dance Center’s Administrative Assistant over the past year and has also assisted in Ballet/Tap, Ballet/Jazz, and Creative Movement classes. This year she will be adding teaching Contemporary 1-3 to her schedule at The Dance Center and can’t wait to start the 30th year with us dancing again!

Rebecca Nano
Team TDC Choreographer

Becca started her training at The Dance Center at the age of 2. During her training she was also on their award winning competition team and attended many conventions. She was cast as the lead role of Thumbelina in their 2017 ballet “Thumbelina” and participated in Northeast Youth Ballet’s Nutcracker in 2016 & 2017. This past year at TDC she assisted, subbed classes, guest taught and co-choreographed the production piece for the competition team. Becca is excited to be given the opportunity to be a guest choreographer for the team for the 2024 season. She has been dancing with Jennie & Company, a modern/contemporary dance company, since the age of 7. By the age of 14 she debuted her first piece of choreography for the company. Becca recently taught company classes and set a new piece of work for their upcoming 2023 performance. Last season she toured with the Soul De Soul dance convention as a SoulElite where she had the opportunity to assist classes. This year she will be touring with SDS again, but as a SoulElite Pro. Becca recently moved to LA to pursue her dance training. She is attending the Gen Pro professional contemporary dance program where she hopes to learn, grow and inspire future dancers.
